The BMW Gran Turismo is offered with LED headlamps which include auto high beam assist, LED fog lamps and LED turn indicators mounted on the ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors). The BMW GT also comes with automatic headlamps and rain sensing wipers as standard.
All variants of the BMW Gran Turismo are offered with a front armrest, dual zone automatic climate control, centre arm rest for the rear passenger and a light package with ambient lighting. The sport seats for driver and passenger are available only on the Sport line diesel trim. The 8.7 inch infotainment unit is compatible with Bluetooth, USB, AUX and also has a handwriting recognition system. This system can be operated through a touchpad on the centre console. Navigation is also standard in the iDrive infotainment system.
The BMW Gran Turismo is powered by a petrol and a diesel engine. The 1,995 cc diesel motor generates 190 hp of power at 4,000 rpm and 400 Nm of torque from 1,750 rpm to 2,500 rpm. The 1,998 cc petrol engine produces 252 hp of power at 5,200 rpm and 350 Nm of torque from 1,450 rpm to 4,800 rpm.
The 8-speed automatic transmission offered with the BMW Gran Turismo is available on both engine options. In addition, the coupe comes with launch control, a servotronic steering assist and different driving modes, Comfort, ECOPRO, Sport and Sport Plus.
The BMW Gran Turismo comes with BMW Emergency Assist, ABS, EBD, traction control, 6 airbags and a crash sensor. In addition, the run flat tyres and tyre pressure monitoring system add to the safety quotient.
