UM Motorcycles is an American manufacturer that was established in the year 2000 by Octavio Villegas Llano. Based out of Miami, Florida, UM aims to build motorcycles at affordable prices for the masses. In India, the company works in a joint venture with Lohia Auto and has invested about Rs 100 crore in the country. The motorcycles are manufactured at Lohia Auto's plant at Kashipur in Uttarakhand. Currently, the brand has one series of motorcycles in India called Renegade, which comes in different iterations - Sports S, Commando, Mojave and Classic. The motorcycles are powered by a 280cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The Renegade Classic is the brand's flagship cruiser and the Sports S is the entry-level variant.
