Triumph Thunderbird is a range of cruiser motorcycles by the British brand. It is available in two variants in India - Storm and LT. The Storm version is more powerful but the LT variant is better kitted, with features like backrest, footboards, panniers, saddle bags and white wall tyres among other accessories. The LT is more of a classic tourer with long distance riding features and the Storm has more muscular styling and is lighter, along with which it has a smaller price tag as well. Triumph says that the Thunderbird has a laid-back riding stance, but packs some serious power underneath.

Triumph Thunderbird motorcycles are powered by a 1699cc liquid-cooled, DOHC, parallel-twin with 270 degree firing interval. It produces 92.7 hp at 5,400 rpm and 151 Nm at 3,550 rpm on the LT and the Storm variant delivers an increased 96.6 hp at 5,200 rpm and 156 Nm at 2,950 rpm.
Triuph Thunderbird comes with toothed belt drive and a six-speed gearbox with a wet, multiplate clutch.
Triumph Thunderbird comes with twin 310 mm floating discs with Nissin four-piston fixed callipers up front and at the back, it gets a single 310 mm fixed disc with Brembo two-piston floating calliper. It is equipped with ABS.
Triumph Thunderbird motorcycles have a 22-litre fuel tank and can deliver about 17-24 kmpl, depending upon usage.
