Triumph Thruxton 1200 R is a modern classic sports motorcycle in the brand's stable and is slightly more aggressive than the standard Thruxton. The Thruxton 1200 R's Cafe Racer styling sets it apart and there is strong attention to detail. It gets classic styling cues like a sculpted fuel tank, round headlamp, chromed clocks, round mirrors and orange tinted indicators. The motorcycle is built on the same tubular steel cradle frame as the Bonneville and the Thruxton. It comes with a 1200cc liquid-cooled engine and modern tech, such as ride-by-wire, riding modes, torque assist clutch, among others. The British motorcycle manufacturer also offers some 160 accessories for it.

Triumph Thruxton 1200 R is powered by a 1200cc liquid-cooled, 8-valve, SOHC, 270° crank angle parrellel twin engine that produces 95.6 hp at 6,750 rpm and 111.2 Nm of torque at 3,692 rpm.
The engine is paired to a six-speed manual geabox with a wet, multi-plate assist clutch.
Triumph Thruxton 1200 R comes with 310mm Brembo twin floating discs with Brembo four-piston radial monobloc callipers up front and at the back, it gets a single 220mm disc with Nissin two-piston floating calliper. It also features ABS.
