Triumph Speed Triple ABS is one of the most popular motorcycles in the British manufacturer's product lineup. It gets very minimalistic and raw bodywork, but it is, in fact, a very refined machine which fairs well both on and off the track. The new model is more powerful, lighter and looks more aggressive than its predecessor. The Triumph Speed Triple comes with a twin-tube, twin spar frame chassis which adds to it muscular appeal. The handlebar is set low allowing a forward leaning position to the rider. The naked motorcycle is powered by a liquid-cooled three-cylinder 1050cc engine. The fuel-injected unit is connected to a six-speed manual gearbox and a lightweight three-into-two exhaust system. Triumph Speed Triple ABS gets very few rider aids, including ABS. The part digital, part analogue instrument console indicates gear change, service reminder, lap timer, trip computer and fuel gauge.
Optional electronic ABS makes 100 calculations per second to prevent wheel lockup

Triumph Speed Triple ABS has a muscular and aggressive design topped with the trademark twin pentagon headlamps. The twin-tube, twin spar frame is a prominent part of the styling through which the engine unit can be seen bulging. The twin exhausts under the stubby tail section and a single-sided swingarm allow the rear wheel to be in full view.
Triumph Speed Triple ABS allows the rider a sports motorcycle riding stance with rear-set footpegs. The suspension can be adjusted according to the purpose of the ride, say a day out in the city or for attacking a racetrack.
Triumph Speed Triple ABS is powered by a 1050cc liquid-cooled, 12-valve, DOHC, in-line three-cylinder engine that produces 124.9 hp at 9,301 rpm and 1.4.82 Nm at 7,797 rpm.
The engine is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox with a wet, multi-plate clutch.
