Triumph Trident 660 is the company’s upcoming most affordable bike that will be launched in India in the coming months. The bike has been unveiled and is positioned in the company’s line up as a roadster. Bookings for the Triumph Trident 660 are already open in India for a minimum token amount of Rs 50,000. The bike gets a neo-retro styling which means you get to see classic and modern design bits on the bike at the same time. Powering the upcoming Triumph Trident 660 is a 660cc, inline three-cylinder engine that is good for churning out 80 hp of power and 64 Nm of torque. With this motor, you get a six-speed transmission system with a slip/assist clutch. When it comes to electronics, the Triumph Trident 660 gets bits like ride-by-wire throttle with two riding modes – Road and Rain. In addition, the Trident comes with an ABS, traction control, all-LED lighting system and also, a fully-coloured TFT display. You also get an optional ‘My Triumph’ connectivity system to pair your smartphone to the bike for added convenience. The company has confirmed that the bike, in most certainty, will be priced below the Street Twin that is currently priced at Rs 7.45 lakh (ex-showroom).
