Hero Xtreme 200R is the country’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer’s first naked motorcycle in the 200cc segment. One if the reasons why this motorcycle is into the headlines is due to its competitive price tag. Powering the Hero Xtreme 200R is a 199.5cc, air-cooled engine mated to a five-speed transmission. The engine is good for shedding out a maximum power output of 18 bhp along with a peak torque of 17 Nm. The braking is done with the help of a 272mm disc brake up front along with a single 220mm disc brake at the rear. A single-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) comes as standard with the motorcycle. The new Hero Xtreme 200R has been launched in India at a price of Rs 88,000 (ex-showroom, Guwahati). The motorcycle challenges the likes of TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Bajaj Pulsar NS200. However, its terms of pricing, it challenges the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and Bajaj Pulsar NS160.
