Ex-showroom Price (New Delhi)

The Ducati SuperSport is the latest offering by the Italian manufacturer for India. Instead of performance and aggressive riding, the company has played the comfort card with the SuperSport and says that the motorcycle is an everyday sportsbike. The bike gets its power from a 937cc, twin cylinder engine that is linked to a six-speed transmission. The motor produces a maximum power output of 110 hp along with a peak torque of 93 Nm. The prime highlights of the Ducati SuperSport include an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Ducati traction control, quickshifter, adjustable windscreen, multiple riding modes and a lot more. There is also an ‘S’ variant of the motorcycle that comes with added features and hence, demands some more cash.

  • Ducati SuperSport Design and Build

    Ducati SuperSport

The design of the Ducati SuperSport is inspired from its Panigale cousins. Having said that, the design of this motorcycle looks aggressive and mean. However, Ducati has designed the bike in such a way that the motorcycle also looks to offer comfort at the same time. The more premium ‘S’ variant receives a sharper headlamp which clearly distinguishes it from the standard model. The Ducati SuperSport gets a removable body cowl at the rear and the twin port exhaust system further adds to its charm.

  • Ducati SuperSport Riding Ergonomics

    Ducati SuperSport

The riding ergonomics of the Ducati SuperSport are relaxed and comfortable when compared to the company’s Panigale models. The revision of footpeg position helps offer a comfortable posture to the rider. For this reason, the rider sits quite upright that translates to everyday practicality and hence, even long rides won’t be tiring.

  • Ducati SuperSport Engine

    Ducati SuperSport

The Ducati SuperSport gets its power from a 937cc, Testastretta 11°, twin-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. The fuel injected mill is good for churning out a maximum power output of 110 hp along with a peak torque of 93 Nm. The engine has four valves per cylinder and is compliant with Euro-IV emission norms, and hence automatically meets BS-IV standards.

  • Ducati SuperSport Transmission

    Ducati SuperSport

The engine of the Ducati SuperSport is mated to a six-speed transmission set up. The gearbox has a one-down, five up shifting pattern.

  • Ducati SuperSport Braking and Safety

The stopping power to the Ducati SuperSport is delivered with the help of twin 320mm disc brakes at the front along with a single 245mm disc brake at the rear. An Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) is also being offered for safe and effective braking. The motorcycle also comes equipped with traction control system along with multiple riding modes that offer added convenience.

  • Ducati SuperSport Mileage

The Ducati SuperSport has been assisted with a fuel tank having 16-litre capacity. The motorcycle returns a fuel efficiency of close to 15 kmpl in real world riding conditions. This means that you will get a range of close to 240 kms once you fill the tank to the full.
