Aprilia Storm 125 is currently the most affordable ofering in the Italian manufacturer's line up for India. The scooter has been positioned below the Aprilia SR 125. The Storm 125 is largely identical to the SR 125, however looks more striking and appealing with the bright colour options. The Aprilia Storm 125 was launched in India at a price of Rs 65,000 (ex-showroom, Pune). The Aprilia Storm 125 primarily challenges the likes of the TVS Ntorq 125, Honda Activa 125 and Hero Maestro Edge 125 in the segment. The scooter is available at all Aprilia and Vespa showrooms across the country.

Striking design and colour options
The Aprilia Storm 125 takes its style inspiration from the SR 125 and in fact, the Storm 125 looks almost identical to the latter. The front apron of the scooter gets an edgy headlamp that offers a decent illumination the dark. The Aprilia Storm 125 in particular, looks striking with contrasting yellow and red paint schemes. Moreover, the 12-inch knobby tyres do the task in the looks department as well.
The Aprilia Storm 125 offers a relaxed and comfortable riding position and you can ride this scooter even for long distances without any complaints. There is enough space on the floorboard which is adequate for you to place both your feet. The quality of the switchgear is also decent just like what you would expect from a scooter from Aprilia.
The Aprilia Storm 125 draws power from a 124.5cc, single cylinder, air-cooled engine that is good for developing respective power and torque outputs of 9.5 bhp and 9.9 Nm. The performance is quite punchy and the Storm 125 is one of the peppiest 125cc scooters that you can buy in India.
The engine on the Aprilia Storm 125 is mated to a CVT transmission which means you do not have to change gears manually like you do on a motorcycle. For this reason, the scooter can be ridden easily by both the sexes and almost all members for the family, which is a big plus point.
The Aprilia Storm 125 gets a 150mm drum brake up front along with a 140mm drum brake at the rear. These further come linked to Combined Braking System (CBS) for added safety and convenience.
Aprilia Storm 125 delivers a fuel efficiency of close to 45 kmpl. The scooter comes fitted with a 6.5 litre fuel tank. That being said, you can expect a range of close to 280 km once you fill the tank up to its brim.
