Motorcycle culture has grown so much in India in the last twenty years. People from across the economic spectrum, irrelevant of age and gender have turned to motorcycles. People are beginning to consider them so much more than a tool for A to B commutes. This clearly explains the superbike boom we’ve seen over the last few years and is the reason why some of the world’s most expensive motorcycles are today on sale in India. These are the five most expensive bikes available in India today, mind you this list starts at a cool 48 lakh.
The list starts with the MV Agusta F4 Reparto Corsa, a limited edition based on the F4, only 250 units will be made. MV will get you one of these bespoke carbon ala everything motorcycles on special order, but it will cost you a cool 48.94 lakh. (ex-showroom Mumbai)
For those who those of you who like motorcycles but want a recliner, Harley Davidson’s CVO is the bike for you. It come with air conditioning a media player and lots lots more. If you were wondering the entire package weighs about 433 kilos and Harley Davidson holds special workshops for owners to teach them how to pick it up incase it falls over. It costs 53.49 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai)
The first Ducati Panigale on the list(but not the last), is the newly launched 1299 R Final Edition, which gets a ton of cycles parts from a WSBK racing bike. It is also the last Panigale that Ducati will make with an L-twin before the switch to the V4 format on the next one. This piece of history will cost you 59.18 lakh (ex-mumbai)
The next member of the list needs no introduction, it’s the H2R which is basically the H2 steroid-pumped evil twin which produces a stratospheric 300bhp. Kawasaki offer the bike on special order in India but it will cost you your kidneys or more, that is if your kidneys are worth 36 lakh each. The H2R retails at a brutal 72.01 lakh (ex-mumbai)
Taking the title of most expensive bike in India from the H2R is another Panigale but this time it's the 1299 Superleggera. Amazingly one’s already been delivered here. The Superleggera is literally the pinnacle of two-wheeler missile technology, but it will cost you and dearly, it retails at 1.29 crore (ex-does it really matter?)
