Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the Etios Liva in dual tone shade, which will now be available for V and VX in petrol motor and VD & VXD for diesel motor. Along with this, the new dual tone Etios Liva receives the dual tone colour on roof & pillars and the roof spoiler. At the front, the hatchback gets updates such as front grille with black finish, chrome inserts fog lamp, electrically foldable ORVM's and a diamond cut alloy wheel.
Inside the cabin, the new dual tone Etios Liva receives a piano black finish instrument panel, Optitron combi meter rear removable headrests, adjustable front headrest and a 3D textured fabric seats. In terms of safety, the new dual tone Etios Liva gets dual SRS airbags, Anti-Lock braking system (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and ISOFIX as standard across the range. The new dual tone Etios Liva will feature the same engines, a 1.2 litre petrol and 1.3 diesel engine. The dual tone Etios Liva is available in three shades Ultramarine Blue, Vermilion Red, Super White.
Last year, Toyota Kirloskar Motor launched the facelift of the Etios Series, wherein both the cars received cosmetic updates at the front and exterior but no changes to the engine. Despite the company's efforts to roll-out new variants of the Etios Liva, the car hasn't been able to make an impact on the segment, with monthly sales hovering around the 1,000 mark in the last few months of 2016. The Etios Liva today feels outdated in terms of design and features, especially inside the cabin. Although, the car rates well in terms of safety, its design and feature list doesn't seem to catch the fancy of too many consumers in the segment. The company is working on a brand new Etios and until the new model comes in, it'll be hard for cosmetically enhanced variants to make any significant impact.

V- Rs 6.03 lakh
VX- Rs. 6.49 lakh
VD-Rs 7.26 lakh
