In the Utility Vehicle space that comprises of SUVs, crossovers and MUVs/MPVs, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza continues to be at the pole position by selling 11,,684 units. Even though sold only with a diesel engine option, Maruti’s SUV has been very popular among buyers and the sales have been on the rise for a while now. Hyundai Creta is another popular SUV in this segment whose premium offering has been its USP. The company sold 9,248 units in the month of October last year. Mahindra top-selling product is the Bolero and the company has constantly been selling over 8000 units. Mahindr Bolero is a much-appreciated product in Tier-2, Tier-3 and rural markets.

MPV Toyota Innova Crysta sales have gone up marginally as the company sold about 6,455 units last month. The premium pricing on the 7-seater vehicles has not reflected much in its sales. The facelift has helped 2017 Maruti Suzuki S-Cross to become the fifth most sold UV in India as the company sold 5,510 units last month. Going forward we expect the new Ford Ecosport to enter this list soon.
