Tata Motors has just updated its colour palette for its two popular cars that go by the name Tiago and Tigor. The Tata Tiago and Tigor will now be available at the company's dealerships across India in a new Titanium Grey colour option. The company has retired the blue colour of the two cars that was not receiving a good response in the market. The company has also started dispatching the updated brochure of the two cars to the dealerships. As you can see in the image shared by a Team-BHP reader, the titanium grey shade has taken the place of the striker blue colour in the catalogue. The Tata Tiago and Tigor get power from the same engines and have the same gearbox too. While the 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine is good for churning out respective power and torque figures of 84 hp and 114 Nm, the 1.1-litre turbo diesel mill sheds out 70 hp and 150 Nm. A five-speed manual gearbox comes as standard with the two models while AMT is also on offer as optional.
The Tata Tigor and Tiago will soon see their performance versions selling in India with the JTP badge. The two models were showcased at Auto Expo 2018. The prime highlights of the two said models is that they will come powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine, churning out 108 hp of power along with 150 Nm of torque. The new Tata Tiago and Tigor JTP will also come with a stiffer suspension set up and a revised five-speed manual transmission system for better performance. The company has not announced a launch date for the two performance oriented cars yet.
Coming back to the new colour, the titanium grey shade for the Tata Tiago and Tigor has started reaching dealerships and its price will be most likely at par with other shades. More details to be revealed in the coming days!
