Rolls Royce showcased three models of bespoke Rolls Royce Dawn Editions at the Monterey car week. Out of the three cars, two cars were revealed at The Quail while the third edition was unveiled at a private gathering of Rolls Royce collectors at Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance.
Michael Fux Dawn
The first car to be showcased at the Quail was of the motor car collector Michael Fux. With a dual-tone blue and white colour scheme, the Dawn drophead is the latest addition to his Rolls Royce car collection. On the exterior, the car gets Fux blue custom paint scheme, while inside the cabin, there are surrounds with Arctic white leather and white dashboard. The Dawn now increases the total car collection of Michael Fux to 150 units.
Another customised car showcased was the Nautical Dawn, which was designed for a client from South Florida. For the theme based designing on the car, the client hired an interior designer Barclay Butera. The design is based on the clint's Oceanside residence theme. On the exterior, the car gets a blue and white motif of yachts and colour of sea. The interior of the car features a Navy blue steering wheel and Rolls-Royce lambswool and carpets. Another feature in the car is the customised watch, which is inspired by the classic 'Rolex Yachtmaster Design'.
'Homage to Silver Ghost' Dawn
The third Dawn edition car has been designed for a renowned member of the Rolls-Royce car collector, Don Brinkerhoff. The car is the sixth addition to Brinkeoff's Rolls Royce family. The car been designed to give homage to the AX 201, 1907 Silver Ghost, which according to Rolls Royce is known as “The Best motor car in the World”. The exterior gets a matte Cassiopeia silver finish, while the interiors feature a pine green leather with black accents.
