Renault launches Kwid ‘Live For More Collection’ edition

The edition gets roof rails, new graphics on the body and alloy wheels and is available with the same powertrain options- 0.8L, 1.0L and 1.0L with automatic transmission.

Renault India has launched the Kwid “Live For More Collection” edition with the price range starting at Rs 2.65 lakh. The Live For More Collection gets 7 new graphic options with Sports, Race, Rallycross, Chase, Ziipp, Turbo and Classic. The collection will be available with all 5 colours- Fiery Red, Ice Cool White, Moonlight Silver, Outback Bronze and Planet Grey. This edition gets roof rails, new graphics on the body and alloy wheels and is available with the same powertrain options- 0.8L, 1.0L and 1.0L with automatic transmission.
The Kwid is powered by a 799 cc and 1.0 litre engine, wherein the smaller unit generates 53 hp of power and 72 Nm of torque. The 1.0 litre engine produces 67 hp of power and 91 Nm of torque. The smaller engine is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission and the Kwid 1.0 RxT (O) variant gets the option of a 5-speed automatic (AMT) gearbox. The hatchback comes in four petrol variants-STD, RXE, RXL and RXZ.

In terms of safety, the Kwid gets a remote keyless entry with central locking, driver airbag, high safety Pro-Sense front seat belt and front fog lamps. Inside the cabin, the hatchback gets touchscreen MediaNav infotainment system, roof mic and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with moon grey & red seat upholstery.

Renault India launched its entry level car, Kwid in 2015, and since then the car has been the company's best selling model. The Kwid was the first car in its segment to sport a touchscreen infotainment system. In addition, the manufacturer also exports the hatchback to other countries including Africa, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh.
