Porsche Macan Turbo Exclusive Edition launched: Here’s everything you need to know about this 436 hp SUV

The new Porsche Macan Turbo Exclusive Edition gets more power and a Performance Package that makes it stand apart from the Macan range.

After unveiling the new Porsche 718 Cayman and the Boxster GTS, Porsche has now launched the Macan Turbo Exclusive Performance Edition. The new top-spec Porsche Macan Exclusive Edition SUV gets more power, faster and is priced higher than the standard versions. The SUV is powered by a 3.6 litre twin-turbo V6 engine that delivers an increased power of 436 hp, which is 36hp more than the standard Turbo variant. The unit also produces 600 Nm of peak torque and send power to its permanent four-wheel-drive system. It takes 4.4 seconds for the Macan Performance Edition to accelerate from zero to 100 kmph and has a top speed of 271 kmph.

The new Porsche Macan Turbo Exclusive Edition comes with Porsche's Performance Package as standard. The Performance Pack include computer-controlled Porsche Active Suspension Management, the Sport Chrono pack, launch control and different driving mode. The Exclusive Edition also gets 15mm lowered ride height. There are few cosmetic changes that consist of 21-inch alloy wheels and red coloured pinstripe on the front spoiler, side cladding as well as on the rear apron.

The interior of the new Porsche Macan Turbo Exclusive Edition gets red stitching on the seats with matching red seatbelt, red ‘turbo’ motifs on the headrest and Exclusive Performance Edition badging on the door sills as well as on the dashboard.

The Macan Turbo Exclusive Performance Edition will be priced at around £86,267 (Rs 75 lakh) and the deliveries will commence in January next year in the global markets. As far as India launch is concerned, there is no confirmation by the car manufacturer.
