There have been multiple media reports on the internet claiming that the new Jeep Compass Trailhawk edition will be launched in India by the end of this year. Confirming the bit, the said model has been recently snapped in the country by folks at Rushlane. The spied unit looks production ready and for this reason, we believe that the new Jeep Compass Trailhawk will make its entry to our shores much sooner than expected. The Jeep Compass Trailhawk has been spotted in a new copper brown shade, which is not available for the existing model as of now. The new Jeep Compass Trailhawk variant is more off-road biased than the regular model and hence, looks bolder than the latter. The new Jeep Compass Trailhawk gets a revised front bumper and the A-pillars along with the roof get an all black treatment that certainly make the car look sportier than before. The rear view mirrors of the new Compass have also been blackened. The Trail Hawk badging on the rear along with the red coloured single tow hook are other changes on the new Trailhawk edition.
A spy image of the new Jeep Compass Trailhawk also gives a glimpse of the interiors. The cabin of the new Compass gets all black treatment along with red inserts on the seats that lend a sportier appeal. Also, there is a leather wrapping around the gear lever and the steering wheels that looks neat. Talking of powertrain, the new Jeep Compass Trailhawk version will most likely source its power from the same 2.0-litre, turbocharged diesel engine that runs the current model. The mill might come mated to a nine-speed automatic gearbox. The SUV gets hill descent control and six parking sensors on the rear. Also, there is a rock mode especially designed for off-road driving.
The new Jeep Compass Trailhawk is expected to be launched in India in the coming months. The SUV will demand a significant premium over the existing model, all thanks to its off-road capabilities. More details on the India-spec new Jeep Compass Trailhawk to be revealed in the coming days!
