The spied test mule is an automatic variant with touchscreen infotainment system, which is offered in top variants. At the front, the facelift Elite i20 will get a redesigned bumper with cascade grille and a new set of alloy wheels, however, the side profile will remain the same. The facelift Elite i20 will carry the same powertrain, a 1.2 litre and a 1.4 litre petrol unit that is paired with a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic transmission. The 1.4 litre CRDi diesel engine will be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. It is expected that Hyundai might offer 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, which might deliver an output of 120 hp and 172 Nm of torque.
