Koenigsegg Agera, a name difficult to spell and related with speed – big speed. The Swedish company is close to finishing production of its record-setting hypercar. Before all the over 50 Ageras are delivered, including the One:1 and RS, Koenigsegg wants to give one last proper send off to the icon by building two Final Edition versions. And now thanks to the owners, Dan and Marc, we have a sneak peek at what these two one-offs will look like. It was in November last year when Koenigsegg Agera RS spelled trouble for Bugatti and Henessey. The Agera RS set a new record for the fastest production car in the world registering a two-way average speed of 277.9 mph (444.6 km/h) on an 17.6 km section of closed public highway between Las Vegas and Pahrump. This was the same car, driven by factory test driver Niklas Lilja, which broke the Chiron's 0-398-0 km/h record by over five seconds. The owner clearly didn't want to stop there and went ahead glorifying the Swedish supercar the best way it can be.
The two Final Edition Koenigsegg Ageras have been christened Thor and Vader by their respective owners. The Thor is owned by Dan, whose Instagram handle dan_am_i is quite popular as he happens to be a fabled hyper car collector. After taking delivery of the first Regera and another special edition Agera RS 'DRAKEN', Dan is looking forward to receiving the final Agera.
The images posted on Dan's Instagram page show that the Final Edition Agera a.k.a Thor will be wearing some unique components. The most noticeable additional part is the new shark fin atop the rear engine decklid. This feature has never before been seen on any other Koenigsegg.
Besides the shark fin, both Thor and Vader will be fitted with Koenigseggs' trademark rear wing which has been previously spotted on the two Agera XSs. The images are giving rise to speculations that Thor may be finished in White Exposed Carbon paint with Exposed Black Carbon sections.
The other Final Edition Koenigsegg Agera's photo comes from its owner who posted an image on his Instagram handle x_marc_the_spot, who also owns several hypercars, including Huayra Coupe and Huayra BC. The Vader, unlike Thor, will not be equipped with the shark fin, which makes the Thor quite unique.
