The exterior of the 2017 edition of the Maruti Suzuki Swift has leaked online, revealing the new look. The car is expected to be launched next year and looks like it has made many changes to the look and feel.
Although it retains the styling of the current version of Swift, it is equipped with a few changes like a large grille, new projector lamp headlights, floating roof impression, new taillamps and alloy rim designs. The door handle for the rear door is now similar to the one in Chevrolet Beat and Mahindra KUV100.
The 2017 Swift will be based on the Maruti Baleno’s lightweight platform, from which it appears to have borrowed styling cues, and is expected to shed nearly 100 kg from the current model.
The car will be seen at the Paris Auto Show in October.
