Maruti Suzuki has launched the limited edition Celerio in India, which costs Rs 16,280 more than the current model. A Maruti Suzuki dealer in West Delhi confirmed that the Celerio Limited Edition is available for sale in Vxi and Zxi variants only and is priced at Rs 4.87 lakh for the Vxi and Rs 5.19 lakh for the Zxi top version. Both prices are on-road, Delhi. The limited edition Celerio is equipped with a package that consists of chrome elements on the Outside Rear View Mirrors (ORVMs), fog lamps, tailgate, tail lamps and headlamps. Other exterior features include body graphics and side mouldings and door visors. The interior too gets additional features such as new steering cover with matching upholstery, a tissue box, ambient lighting and new seat covers with contrast design. The car manufacturer has also equipped the car with convenient features like rear parking sensors and is available in both manual and Auto Gear Shift options.
Apart from these updates, the car remains unchanged. Under the bonnet is the same K10B 1.0 litre, three-cylinder petrol engine that also powers the standard model. It produces 67 hp of maximum power and 90 Nm of peak torque and is paired to a 5-speed manual and an automatic transmission (Auto Gear Shift). The Maruti Suzuki Celerio Limited Edition is also available with CNG option that is powered by the aforementioned engine. The petrol engine delivers a fuel efficiency of 20.36 kmpl, while the CNG delivers 31.79 kmpl.
These new features are not available on the standard Celerio, especially the rear parking sensors and ambient lighting, that are available in premium vehicles. With the launch of the new limited edition Celerio, the customers will now have get access to more convenience features in the Celerio range along with more premium appeal.
