Mahindra and Mahindra are planning to launch a longer wheelbase version of TUV300, to be known as TUV300 Plus. A fresh set of images of TUV300 Plus has been spied by Autocar and it shares its design and components with TUV300. The spied images suggest that SUV is a P4 variant and will get a new design tail lamps. Under the hood, it is expected that the TUV300 Plus will get 1.99 litre m-Hawk D120 engine that produces 120 hp of power and 280Nm of torque. The transmission options might include 5-speed manual gearbox and automatic transmission. Also, the TUV300 Plus might get the 1.5 litre m-Hawk diesel engine that does duty on current generation TUV300.The 1.5 litre engine generates 100 hp of power and 240Nm of torque. The longer wheelbase version of TUV300 will be available in 9 seat configuration and will get updates such as automatic climate control and rear AC vents. Mahindra TUV 300 was first launched in September 2015 and currently is offered in ten variants. The TUV300 also enjoys sub-4-meter benefits. Currently, the TUV is priced in the range of Rs 7.66 – 10.68 lakh (Ex-Delhi).
Mahindra and Mahindra are also planning to launch the Scorpio facelift this year. Also, the manufacturer will bring Toyota Innova rival that is codenamed as U321.With a growing market of compact SUV, the company will also launch S201, that will compete with Brezza and EcoSport. It is expected that Mahindra and Mahindra might showcase these new products at the upcoming 2018 Auto Expo.
