Indian automaker Mahindra & Mahindra has launched its first major facelift on its Mahindra KUV100 today. The smallest SUV from Mahindra first debuted in India in January 2016 and was the first attempt by the company at the smaller SUV space. Mahindra calls it as the Kool Utility Vehicle, however, technically the car still remains as a hatchback. Mahindra KUV 100 attracted more young buyers and the new KUV100 NXT today will ensure higher sales this Diwali as the company looks to increase sales this festive season. Mahindra’s KUV100 get a few minor exterior changes like updated front and rear bumper extra cladding around the fog lamp cluster. KUV100 also gets new alloy wheels and an aluminum finished skid plates at both front and rear to give an enhanced SUV appeal.
Mahindra has already begun the production of the facelifted KUV100 and the cars are already in process of reaching dealerships. Mahindra KUV100 has been a successful model for the company and in FY 2016-17 the company has sold a total of 35,698 units of KUV100 in the domestic market and exported about 1669 units. In the ongoing financial year, the company is averaging a sale of about 3000-4000 units every month.

12:34 P.M: Mahindra KUV100 NXT gets the 1.2 litre petrol and a 1.2 litre diesel engines. The petrol variant produces 82 hp and 115 Nm of torque, the diesel variants, on the other hand, produces 77 hp and 190 Nm of torque.
12:21 P.M: The engine of Mahindra KUV100 NXT now gets the Mahindra's micro-Hybrid technology and is claimed to be about 3 to 4 percent more fuel efficient that before.
