Isuzu Motors is strengthening its network in Punjab as the company opened its 3rd dealership in the region. The new outlet is known by a Krishna ISUZU in Mohali city and will cover the requirements of two more cities which include Chandigarh and Panchkula. This is the third dealership by the company after Ludhiana and Jalandhar. The dealership will provide the 3S( sales, service and spares) to the customers.
At the occasion, the company launched India’s first adventure utility vehicle, D-MAX V-Cross in the region and the dealership will showcase the D-MAX S-CAB & ISUZU D-MAX Regular Cab. The ISUZU D-Max V-cross is powered by a 2,499cc, turbocharged diesel engine that delivers 134 hp of power and 320Nm of torque. The engine is mated to 5-speed gearbox and gets all-wheel drive configuration. For safety, the D-MAX V-Cross get features such as ABS( Anti-lock braking system) with EBD(Electronic Brakeforce Distribution) and BA( brake assist), dual airbags and ISOFIX.
In addition, the company launched a new range in the commercial segment, ISUZU D-MAX S-CAB and the ISUZU D-MAX Regular Cab in 2016. The ISUZU D-MAX S-CAB is a 5-seater pickup and has a large 24 square feet deck which can carry one-tonne payload capacity and is claimed to offer low NVH levels, HVAC with dust and pollen filter.
The ISUZU D-MAX Regular Cab, is a single cabin pickup and is available in flat deck and cab chassis variants. The cab chassis variant is used for cold chain transport applications, while the flat deck is available in 4x2 and 4x4 configuration and can be used for commercial applications and logistics.
The ISUZU vehicles are manufactured at the SriCity facility in Andhra Pradesh and the plant was inaugurated in April 2016, with a capacity to manufacture 50,000 units per annum.
