Kris Singh, a businessman based out of Florida, has a car collection that can make sheikhs of the Middle East green with envy. He is one of the only three owners of a Lamborghini Veneno, that would have cost him $4 million (Rs 25 crore), and he also owns the one-off Koenigsegg Agera XS that is worth $3 million (Rs 19 crore). And now, Mr Singh is about to surpass his own collection and that of anyone else in the world. His raw material for the fulfillment of his ambition comes from the Moon, and he is obviously spending a ridiculous amount of money on it. Aston Martin Valkyrie was first unveiled in July 2016, and is a track-focussed hypercar powered by a 1000 hp-plus engine.
Kris Singh will get himself an Aston Martin Valkyrie, that is only limited to 150 units and is priced at $3.2 million (Rs 20 crore). But what will make Singh's Valkyrie even more special is the fact that it will be covered in dust from the Moon! Yes, the very Moon we see in our night sky, Earth's natural satelite.
According to Singh's Instagram post, he has managed to source a Moon Rock, which will be ground to form fine dust which will then be an essential ingredient in his Valkyrie's Karosserie Lunar Red paint.
Singh has maintained that the source of the Moon Rock, its weight and price will not be disclosed, however, some calculations done by Jalopnik suggest it'll cost him about $4 million (Rs 25 crore), that's Rs 5 crore more than the price of the car!.
In March last year, Rolls Royce came up with a one-off Ghost Elegance with a Diamond Dust paint job. While Rolls Royce did not announce the price on the custom job, they did say it was simply the most expensive paint job ever done on a car. We do not know the price tag of the Ghost 'Diamond Stardust', but Aston Martin Valkyrie Kis Singh Spec will be worth about Rs 45 crore! The paint will be one of a kind too. Rolls, ahem! ahem!
