Hyundai India is planning to launch the updated Hyundai Grand i10, which has been spied testing in the country. The spied images of the Grand i10 facelift showcases the exteriors of the hatchback. In the images, the front and the rear of the car has been camouflaged, but one can make out the changes made to the Grand i10.
The carmaker has updated the front fascia, which will include signature hexagonal honeycomb mesh grille, new headlamps and fog lamps with LED daytime running lamps. The rear of the Grand i10 looks quite similar to the current model, however, the car might get new sets of alloys. Dimensionally, the car will be the same, but is expected to have a shorter wheelbase.
Mechanically, the Hyundai Grand i10 facelift is likely to be powered by the same 1.2 L, four-cylinder petrol engine that generates 81 hp at 6,000 rpm of power and 113 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The diesel models will get its power from the 1.1 L, three-cylinder, diesel unit that develops 70 hp of power and 159 Nm of torque. Both the engines are paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Hyundai Grand i1o facelift will not receive any interior changes. It is expected to retain the same interiors with minor updates and will be available with features like airbags, push button start/stop, 2 DIN integrated audio, steering mounted controls, electric adjustable mirrors and much more.
