Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, on Wednesday, launched the updated Dream Neo in the country. While there are no mechanical changes made to the vehicle, the 110cc Honda Dream Neo gets new graphics and 3 new colours – Black with Blue stripes, Geny Grey Metallic and Imperial Red Metallic. The existing colour Black with Red Stripes will continue to be on sale. Besides the aforementioned changes, the bike also receives new chrome plated muffler protector and 3D emblem on the fuel tank.
Since it’s just a cosmetic update, the company hasn’t changed the vehicle’s price. It continues to cost Rs 49,070 (ex-showroom, Delhi). As mentioned earlier, the updated Honda Dream Neo retains the same 109cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that develops a maximum power output of 8.25bhp at 7500rpm and a peak torque of 8.63Nm at 5500rpm. The vehicle is claimed to return an impressive 74kmpl of mileage.
For people not in the know, the Honda Dream Neo 110cc was recently awarded as the ‘best economy motorcycle’ in Initial Quality at J.D. Power Awards Ceremony. Honda’s other three motorcycles – CB Shine, CB Unicorn and CB Unicorn 160 were also recognized as best in category in the JD Power 2016 India Two-Wheeler Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (2WAPEAL) Study.
Elaborating on Honda’s focus on motorcycle segment, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt.
