Honda Brio facelift snapped at dealership

Honda Brio front-facelift arrives at Indian dealership

Earlier we reported about Honda has showcased facelift version of Brio at the 2016 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show(GIIAS). Now the facelift model of Brio has been spotted at a dealership. It is expected that the company might launch the updated Brio sometime soon this year.
The new Brio facelift is inspired from the 2016 Amaze. On the exterior, the new Honda Brio gets the new bumper,grille, rear spoiler and headlamps with DRLs. Inside the cockpit, the car gets a new dashboard design along with steering mounted control, automatic climate control and Honda connect mobile services. The car stands on a 14-inch aluminum alloy wheels.

Under the hood, the facelift version of Brio is powered by a 1.2L, i-VTEC, SOHC petrol engine,which churns out 88hp of power and 109Nm of peak torque.  The Transmission will be available in two options - 5-speed manual and CVT automatic gearbox.
It is expected that Honda might launch the sports version of Brio, the Brio RS edition next year. The Brio RS edition was also showcased at the 2016 Indonesian Motor Show. The sports edition gets an OVRMs, projector headlamps with LEDs and RS badges.
Last month, Honda Cars India sold 13,942 units in the domestic segment while in the exports segment they sold 664 units. The company sold 784 units of Brio in 2016 August, it is expected that the new facelift version of Brio will further boost the company's sales.
