Ford India sold 24,026 units in February 2017 growing by 38.83 percent

In expansion of its network, Ford Motor India opened two new dealerships, one in Surat and the other Chennai

In February 2017, Ford India had a positive sales growth. The manufacturer sold 24,026 units which includes domestic sales as well as exports, in February 2017 corresponding to 17,306 units in February 2016. The company sold 8,338 units in domestic segment, while in exports 24,026 units were sold.Earlier this year, Ford India launched their latest in-car technology, the SYNC3 in the Ford Endeavour's Titanium variant. The SYNC3 system comes with a 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto,voice-recognition, response technology and Emergency Assistance

Anurag Mehrotra, Executive Director, Marketing, Sales & Service, Ford India, said, “The industry is seeing some green shoots, recovering from the impact of demonetization. Ford continues to grow faster than the industry, which bears testimony to our three-pronged strategy of product led-transformation, busting the myth of cost of service and enhancing dealership experience,”

The Ford Endeavour Titanium trim is being offered in two diesel engines, a 2.2 litre TDCi with 4x2 configuration and 3.2-liter TDCi with 4x4 configuration. Both engines are mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The prices of Ford Endeavour Titanium variant are Rs 27.93 lakh for the 2.2 litre version and Rs 30.89 lakh for the 3.2 litre trim, both prices ex-showroom Delhi.

In sync with its expansion plan, the American carmaker has recently opened two new dealerships, one in Surat and the other Chennai. Ford currently sells the Figo hatchback, Aspire compact sedan, EcoSport compact SUV, Endeavour and the Mustang. Apart from the Mustang, which is a CBU (Completely Built Unit), all other vehicles are manufactured locally at the Chennai facility
