The eighth franchise of the series features Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Nathalie Emmanuel along with a new entry in the form of Charlize Theron, who plays a negative role. One of the key highlights from the trailer of the eighth franchise are insane stunts pulled in snow and the plot, according to the trailer, shows that Dominic Torretto (Vin Diesel's screen name) switches sides and works against his team.
Some of the key cars shown in the trailer include Dodge Challenger, Jaguar F-Type, Mercedes-Benz AMG GT, Lamborghini Murcielago, some big off-roaders, a tank, some more custom-made vehicles and finally a submarine! The action scenes are nothing different from the previous parts of the franchise with unrealistic action and larger than life chases.
The Fast and the Furious movie was first launched in 2001, followed by the 7th part of the Furious 7 in 2013. The action series has witnessed a number of cars including the Dodge Charger, Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R, Chevrolet Chevelle SS, Honda S2000, Toyota Supra Mark IV, Mazda RX-7 FD, 1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, 1969 Chevrolet Yenko Camaro, F-Bomb Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette Grand Sport, RB-Swapped 1967 Ford Mustang, Ford GT40 and much more. Some of the movies also had custom made vehicles such as the 'Mongo' which was a stripped down all-wheel drive version of a Russian military truck used as a ramp car for the train heist in Fast and Furious 5. The 7th part was the last movie of Paul Walker who earlier featured in all Fast and Furious movies.

The last franchise of Fast and Furious 7 grossed Rs 141 crore in India which titled the film as the highest-grossing movie across the country in the Hollywood category. The new 2.5-minute trailer of The Fate of the Furious will hit theatres on 14th April 2016.
