Cristiano Ronaldo has just added another super-elite car to his already elite garage, with the Bugatti Chiron. And if you’re wondering what on earth that is, it’s possibly one of the most exotic cars in production today. It is also, for the most part, the fastest production car in the world with physics-bending acceleration and top speeds and is mostly made of aerospace grade materials. All that results in a car that can get from 0-100 in 2.6 seconds and then onto 300 in 6.5 seconds. That’s about the time an Octavia RS takes to hit a hundred. In fact, the 15000 hp Chiron broke the record after it hit the 400 km mark in a mind-boggling 32.5 seconds.
Social media reports of him driving his son around in the Bugatti Chiron have sparked a wildfire of reshares on social media. Although the addition of the Bugatti Chiron should come as no surprise considering the football legend has always had a soft corner for expensive, exotic and rare sports cars. Here’s a quick glimpse of the most exotic cars in the Real Madrid’s stars garage.
We’d all like the be rich enough to own at least one of the fastest car in the world. But clearly being rich is not one of Ronaldo’s bigger problems. Before the Chiron, he had the Veyron. The car which was recently dethroned by the Chiron, and its spiritual predecessor. Keep in mind aside from the fact that it can also breach the insane 400 km mark the Veyron can also empty it’s long-range fuel tank in 13-minutes at full chat, although it does run it's tyres bald in 8 minutes then so that eliminates the fuel issue.
2. Rolls-Royce Phantom
Nothing goes with a custom tailored suit more than a Rolls, and if you’re going to have a Rolls then you might as well have the range-topping Phantom. Most importantly you can’t just go out and buy a phantom, you have to be invited. That is provided Rolls thinks you have that kind of moolah layin’ around. Well, there’s no doubt CR7 needs any introduction to the world of big bucks, custom suits and fast cars.
3. Maserati GranCabrio
You think you’re cool in your drop top Porsche 911, well Cristiano couldn’t give two hoots. You want to drive an exotic drop top try the Maserati GranCabrio. 440hp/490 Nm Maserati will not only let the wind blow gently through your hair as your turn through the twisties, its Maserati-esque exhaust note will send tingles down your back while you do so
4. Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
Your no car-collector if you don’t have a Ferrari in your garage, and really while the 488 and the La Ferrari are great in their own special way, the 599 GT-Berlinetta is the one you want to be driving. Which probably explains why supercar connoisseur and football legend picked the 599. Also considering that he crashed his previous 599 GTO in 2009 on the way to the airport.
5. Bugatti Chiron
The car that started this whole fire, the Chiron is currently the world’s fastest production car. It makes close to 1500 horsepower and cost £1.85 million pounds (Rs 16.18 crore), and answers the question “what do you get a man who has it all?”, which is “more”.
