BMW launches 7-Series M760Li V12 in India at Rs 2.27 crore

The new BMW 7-Series M760Li is available in two variants and gets the 'M' package at the exterior and interior.

BMW India has extended its 7-Series range by launching the new top-of-the-line M760Li in the country. The new BMW 7 -Series M760Li is priced at Rs 2.27 crore, ex-showroom, Delhi for the standard and Excellence variants. Based on the regular BMW 7-Series, the new performance oriented model gets new and additional features both inside out and will also share some of the equipment offered in the M range of vehicles. While this model continues to be a comfortable saloon, it's also got the character of a chest-pounding gorilla.

The exterior of the new M760Li has received an M Sport package and features BMW's signature kidney grille with chrome surrounds. The front bumper is now revised and gets a larger three-section air intake running across the width of the vehicle. The new performance model is also equipped with horizontal LED headlamps, 20-inch M double-spoke alloy wheels, the M and V12 badging as well as a new quad exhaust system with twin pipes.


Similar to the exterior, the cabin also gets an M-specific features that can been in the form of a headliner in Alcantara design, door sill finishers in Aluminium high finish with illuminated V12 insignia, premium wooden inlays for the seatbelt outlets, armrests and roof handle at the rear and an illuminated centre console with the V12 logo.

The M760Li is powered by a 6.6 litre V12, TwinPower Turbo petrol engine that delivers a maximum output of 601 hp and churns out a peak torque of 800 Nm. The engine is paired to an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission and sends power to the xDrive all-wheel-drive system. According to the car manufacturer, the new luxurious sedan can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.7 seconds.
