Japanese auto-component manufacturer Hitachi Automotive Systems at the ongoing Auto Components show has expanded its aftermarket business and has added its global TOKICO branded suspension the company today launched its famous TOKICO branded suspension product to its lineup. The company has also established a new technical center in Delhi to expand its footprints in North India. This new technical center will support Hitachi Automotive Systems’ Chennai operations.

The company has also launched two new powertrain technologies – Variable Valve Timing Controls and Plug Top ignition Coils at its manufacturing plant in Chennai. Hitachi Automotive Systems is also going to continue to bet big on the Indian market and confirms that the first phase facility investment will be completely utilized by 2020.

The company is also going to be aggressive in its aftermarket sales and initially the new products will be imported from its Thailand plant.

Hitachi Automotive Systems is investing in solutions that contribute to the Indian society.”

At the Delhi Auto Expo, the company showcased its latest work in in Electrification and Autonomous Driving along with a range of engine technologies that help reduce vehicle pollution in order to comply with BS VI norms in the next two years.

Hitachi’s new technical center will help the company to build relations with its customers and create an organized supply chain management system. Currently, the company is only catering to passenger vehicles segment. The new TOKICO brand suspensions are recognized globally and only in Thailand has a market share of about 24 percent. Hitachi Automotive Systems will also launch two more new products in India by 2020.
