On Friday, Audi India announced the 2016 season of their unique driving experience programme—the Audi Sportscar Experience (ASE)—at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC), Greater Noida. First launched in 2012, this is a first-of-its-kind initiative for customers to experience various Audi high-performance sportscars on a racetrack, while learning how to handle their powerful cars—if they own one or plan to buy—on public roads through techniques taught at the event by a team of instructors. The sportscars include the S5 Sportback, TT Coupe, RS 6 Avant, and RS 7 Sportback. The company says that over 2,000 customers have participated in this initiative since its inception. “The ASE has become extremely successful over the past few years, with an increasing number of automobile enthusiasts out there who like to sample the adrenaline rush and excitement of driving an Audi sportscar on a race track, but have not had the chance to do so,” said Joe King, head, Audi India. Globally, the ASE is conducted on race tracks at Barcelona, the Nurburgring, the EuroSpeedway Lausitz, the Salzburgring, Dubai and in Spa, Belgium.
