Going aggressive with its SUVs, Korean automaker, Hyundai is all set for the global debut its Santa-Fe SUV that will make its first appearance at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. This will be the fourth generation Hyundai Santa Fe and the first image suggests bold and aggressive design with smart and modern interior cabin.
2018 Hyundai Santa Fe follows Hyundai’s new family design language and gets the new twin headlights along with a bold cascading grille as seen on the new generation Hyundai Elantra. There is more muscle added to the body of the new SUV giving it a wider and aggressive stance. Hyundai Santa Fe is company’s top flagship SUV and expect the interiors to be spacious. Hyundai has given the new Santa Fe a horizontal layout that has enhanced visibility.
2018 Hyundai Santa Fe now measures 4,770 mm in 4,770 mm,1,890 mm in width and also gets a longer wheelbase. The additional width has resulted in more space inside the cabin.
All-new Hyundai Santa Fe features Hyundai’s SmartSense technology and gets additional safety devices like Rear Cross—Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist that allows reversing out of areas with low visibility with ease The system warns the driver about the approaching vehicle from behind and also applies brakes automatically. Another new feature is ‘The Safety Exit Assist’ that avoids accidents when vehicles approach from behind by temporarily locking the doors so that passengers will exit the car safely.
New Generation Santa Fe will make its global debut at 2018 Geneva Motor Show in March 2018. India launch of the new Hyundai Santa Fe is still unsure. Hyundai Motor India decided to take the Santa Fe out of its SUV portfolio in India and we will have to wait to see if the company brings back its flagship SUV. Hyundai Santa Fe will take on the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and the upcoming Mahindra’s G4 Rexton badged SUV in India.
