Tata Motors has just rolled out its 25,000th Nexon compact SUV from its production facility situated in Ranjangaon, Pune. The compact SUV has achieved this feat within just six months of its launch that took place in September last year. The Tata Nexon was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 5.85 lakh while the price of the top end version has been kept at Rs 9.45 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi). The compact SUV segment in India has been doing decent since last few years. This is courtesy the entry of some worthy newcomers like the Ford EcoSport, Maruti Vitara Brezza and more. After a few months of its launch, the Tata Nexon became the talk of the town, courtesy its appealing design and multiple interesting features. At the said price point, the Nexon not only offers a high value for money proposition but also undercuts some of its rivals by a good margin.

At the recently concluded Auto Expo 2018, Tata Motors showcased the Nexon AMT version that is likely to go on sale in India in the coming weeks. The bookings for the new Tata Nexon AMT have also begun at company's selected dealerships in India at a minimum token amount of Rs 5,000. The AMT option for the Tata Nexon will be rolled out for both, 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. At the time of launch, Tata Motors had stated that it will introduce an AMT option to the Nexon at a later stage depending upon the demand from the customers.
The company has also launched the new Tata Nexon Aero packs to offer multiple customisation choices to the owners of the compact SUV. The price of the new Tata Nexon Aero packs starts at Rs 30,610 and it reaches up till Rs 61,574.
