India’s largest motor show, the Auto Expo has been scheduled to be held from February 9-14, 2018. The venue of the show is not likely to be changed and it will be held at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The component show, however will have separate venue. It will be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from February 8-11, 2018. The business hours will be from 10:00 to 13:00 on weekdays and the time allotted for visitors will be 13:00 to 18:00 on weekdays and till 19:00 on weekends.
The motor show is being organised in collaboration with Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), and accredited by OICA.
The expo held in 2016 saw participation from 65 automotive manufacturers, and it registered about six lakh visitors. A total of 108 new products were launched and unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo. The total of exhibitors at 2016 expo was more when compared to the previous edition, making it the largest ever till date.
There is so far no word out on what all can we expect at next year’s expo or how many manufacturers would exhibit. Maruti Suzuki Swift is slated for launch in 2018, it is speculated the brand may launch it during the motor show next year.
Though the prices of the tickets have not been revealed yet, they are expected to be made available on BookMyShow starting November 2017.
