On Friday, February 13, 2026, the white salt plains of the Rann of Kutch in Gujarat witnessed a mechanical transformation as TVS Motor Company returned for its landmark second year at the Rann Utsav. By curating high-octane motorcycling adventures, the global two- and three-wheeler manufacturer is attempting to pioneer a new era of experiential tourism, positioning the Gujarat festival as a premier global destination for riders.
The event, which builds on last year’s maiden association, drew over 100 motorcycle enthusiasts from across India, and as far as Italy and Mexico. These riders converged to explore the iconic ‘Road to Heaven’ and the starlit desert skies, signalling a shift in how India’s iconic landscapes are being marketed to the world.

Harsh Sanghavi, deputy CM of Gujarat, said that the festival continues to redefine destination experiences by blending culture and innovation, emphasising that collaborations with industry leaders like TVS strengthen the national narrative on experiential tourism.
The vision behind this movement stems from a desire to put India’s treasures on the international map. Sudarshan Venu, Chairman of TVS Motor Company, stated that the project was inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to promote experiential tourism. “It is an honour to take this vision to the next level by pioneering motorcycling-led adventures,” Venu said.
A major highlight of this edition was the first-ever West Chapter ride of the TVS Apache Owners Group (AOG) and the TVS Ronin CuLT community. More than 100 participants travelled from cities including Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad. The journey combined rural routes and highways, reinforcing the idea that the Rann is best experienced on two wheels.

At the heart of the celebration was the TVS Rann Utsav Custom Series – a collection of five bespoke motorcycles designed as cultural interpretations of the region. Four models – the Ronin, Apache RTR 200, Apache RTR 310, and Apache RR 310 – were reimagined under the theme ‘The Rann of Kutch Edition: A Symphony of Salt and Sky’. Developed in association with Eimor Customs, these hand-painted machines feature colours reflecting the contrast between the salt plains and the desert sky, adorned with laser-cut stainless-steel badges.
In addition, a specially modified TVS Ronin, themed ‘Unscripted Exploration’, was showcased. This version features dual-purpose tyres, a reinforced rear rack, and Ajrak-inspired leather accessories – a nod to the local heritage and craft traditions of Kutch.
Ajrak, in fact, is a traditional form of hand-block printing on textiles, primarily found in the Kutch region of Gujarat, Barmer in Rajasthan, and even across the border in the Sindh province of Pakistan, and is considered one of the most labour-intensive textile arts.
“As TVS Motor reaffirms its long-term partnership with Gujarat Tourism, the initiative stands as a national invitation to riders to explore the unexplored, proving that the joy of motorcycling can be a powerful lens through which to view India’s cultural and geographical heritage,” added Gaurav Gupta, the president of the company’s two-wheeler business.
