TVS Motor Company has launched an IRIDE mobile application for its customers in India. The IRIDE app monitors the riding parameters of the vehicle during travel and will help customers improve their riding skills.

The app is available on any Android smartphone with a version of 4.2.4 or above on Google Play store, however, it is exclusive to TVS two-wheeler owners. The IRIDE app provides vehicle assistance during an emergency. The customers can also provide real time feedback of the application.

According to the company, the new IRIDE app is easy to use and can be launched by simply pressing the power key thrice. The app also detects the vehicle's movement and switches between riding and idling mode. Users can locate their vehicle and navigate in a crowded parking lot and share their riding achievements and feedback like their top speed, badges and more on social media.

For medical emergencies, the IRIDE app keeps all the key medical details of the rider for first aid. Bike details like vehicle registration number, date of purchase, service booking and reminders are also a part of the app. This app can also detect an accident and immediately sends an alert to the emergency contacts. The phone's screen opens up and displays crucial information about the rider and first responders can give first aid accordingly.
