Suzuki Motorcycle India has registered a growth of 44.5 percent in the month of February, 2017 over the corresponding period last year. The company sold a cumulative 40,175 units last month which includes domestic and export sales.
Suzuki has recently launched the BSIV compliant Gixxer range of motorcycles and the Access 125 scooter in new body colours. Both the models have received an impressive response from customers since their launch. The company will also update its entire model range in the country with the BSIV emission standards soon. Along with BSIV compliance models, the manufacturer will equip its entire model range with AHO (Automatic Headlamp On) as a safety feature.

The Suzuki Gixxer SF has also received new graphics, while the BSIV compliant Access 125 scooter also gets new body colour options. The Suzuki Gixxer which now comes with a rear disc variant is priced at Rs 80,528, ex-showroom, Delhi, while the Gixxer with drum brake cost Rs 77,452, ex-showroom, Delhi.
The fully faired version, the Gixxer SF is priced at Rs 89,659 and the Gixxer SF Fi carries a price tag of Rs 93,499, both equipped with a rear disc brake. The new Suzuki Access 125 is priced at Rs 54,302 for the front drum brake version and Rs 57,615 for the front disc brake variant. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
All the two-wheelers, including motorcycles and scooter sold in the country, will now be equipped with the BS-IV emission norms and AHO features as announced by the Government of India. The two-wheeler manufacturer has to comply with these rules before 31st March, 2017.
