Royal Enfield has quietly revised the prices of its entire 650cc motorcycle range, effective from January 2026. The price increase, ranging from Rs 3,321 to Rs 4,323 across various models, depends on variants. Royal Enfield is attributing the price hike to rising production costs driven by higher raw material prices and inflation. The trend was earlier spotted across two of its 350cc models, which also saw a price hike earlier in january

Royal Enfield isn’t the only one revising its sticker price, though. A similar trend is seen across the Indian auto industry, where several manufacturers have announced price adjustments at the start of the new year. Already affected by the previousprice hike forced by GST 2.0, Royal Enfield hopes the modest hike will not significantly impact consumer buying decisions, as the brand maintains strong demand for its parallel-twin 650cc lineup.

The affected models include the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Super Meteor 650, Classic 650, Bear 650, and Shotgun 650 — all powered by the proven 648cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine delivering around 47 hp and 52 Nm of torque.

A glance at the Royal Enfield 650 range

While the prices have been hiked compared to the previous ones, no changes have been made to the mechanical specifications, features, or colour options alongside this revision. The 650cc platform continues to offer a smooth riding experience, dual-channel ABS, slip-and-assist clutch, and retro-modern styling that appeals to both enthusiasts and daily riders. The company recently showcased the Bullet 650 at the EICMA 2025 and is now expected to launch this retro motorcycle in India, positioning it as a more accessible alternative to the Classic 650.

The company is also expected to launch its upgraded 750cc platform later this year, with the Interceptor, Continental GT, and the Himalayan.
