Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) has added a new variant in its iconic scooter Activa family, the Activa 4G. The scooter has been launched at a price of Rs 50,730, ex-showroom, Delhi. The Activa 4G gets new features such as AHO( Automatic Headlamp On), new front cover design and tubeless tyres and under seat storage with mobile charging plug.

The Activa 4G is powered by the same engine as in the Activa 3G, a 109cc, air-cooled, 4-strike engine that produces 8hp of power and 9Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a V-Matic transmission and complies with the BS4 emission norms. Braking duties are equipped with Honda's advanced Combi Brake System (CBS) with Equalizer and the CLIC (Convenient Lift up Independent Cover Mechanism), which makes maintenance easier and faster.
Honda Activa 4G is available in 7 colours- Trance Blue Metallic, Imperial Red Metallic, Black, Pearl Amazing White, Majestic Brown Metallic and two new colours New Matt Selene Silver Metallic & New Matte Axis Grey Metallic. The Activa 4G will compete with the likes of Hero Maestro, TVS Jupiter and newly launched TVS WEGO.

With immense popularity among the customers, the automatic scooter is in demand across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. According to SIAM, Honda is the number 1 two wheeler selling brand in 11 states and 2 Union Territory across India. Currently, HMSI sells 110cc Honda Activa 3G, Dio, Aviator, Activa I and Activa 125.
