Harley-Davidson will introduce its next offered in India, the Street Rod 750 and the motorcycle has been listed on the official website. As of now the launch date isn't confirmed, however, dealerships have started accepting the booking of Street Rod 750 with a token amount of Rs 30,000. Based on the Harley-Davidson XR1200X, the motorcycle is powered by a 749 cc High Output Revolution X V-Twin engine that delivers 62 Nm of torque.
The 2017 Street Rod 750 measures 2,130 mm in length, 765 mm in height, has 205 mm of ground clearance and wheelbase of 1,510 mm. The kerb weight of the motorcycle is 238 kg and the fuel tank capacity of 13 litre. Suspension duties are handled by new 43 mm inverted front forks and piggyback shocks at rear, which is claimed to offer better ride quality. The Street Rod 750 will carry dual front disc brakes with dual piston calipers and ABS. The motorcycle is offered with 17 inch, 7-split open spoke cast aluminium wheels at front and rear with 120/70 front section tyre, while the rear has a 160/60 69H profile.
The Street Rod 750 features a 3.5 inch electronic speedometer with high beam, neutral, low oil pressure, turn signals, engine diagnostics, low fuel warning, blade key ignition, fork lock and locking fuel cap. In addition, the motorcycle receives 'drag bars' handlebar with bar-end mirrors, color-matched speed screen with a black inserts and LED turn indicators. The Harley-Davidson Street Rod 750 will command a slight premium over the current Street 750 and is expected to be priced around Rs 5 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
