The roar of high-performance engines is set to return to the scenic Aamby Valley in Maharashtra as Generation Speed – India’s premier motoring festival – announces its second edition. Scheduled for February 7-8, 2026, it will be held on the Aamby Valley air strip near Lonavala, like last time.

Martin da Costa, founder & CEO of 70 EMG – the agency that also hosts the India Bike Week – told FE that building on the momentum of its debut in 2025, this year’s edition promises to elevate the country’s motoring culture to a new level of intensity and inclusivity.

“The incredible response to the first edition proved that India’s motoring culture is not just alive, but is accelerating into an exciting new era,” da Costa told FE. “We aim to capture the full spectrum of automotive passion, from the timeless allure of classic machines to the thunderous power of modern exotics.”

From Legacy to Luxury

At the centre of the spectacle will be a curated display of 200 of the greatest cars in India, many of which will be seen roaring down the Speedway. Attendees can explore thematic zones such as ‘Legacy Lane’ for classic sports machines, the ‘Motorsport Class’ featuring winning Indian racing vehicles, and the ‘Speed Shikari Den’ for supercars and exotics. For those interested in customisation, ‘Mod’s Own Country’ will showcase extremely modified machines alongside a dedicated Tuners Zone in the shopping expo.

Other highlights include a GS Drift Competition judged by an FIA-affiliated Race Director from Dubai, FMSCI-affiliated Auto Cross races, and intense Quarter Mile Time Trials. For those looking to sharpen their own skills, the ‘Generation Speed Schools’ will offer specialised clinics, including a two-day Drift Clinic by DX Drift Dubai and a Rally School by Chetan Shivram Motorsport.

Track Mastery

Beyond the track, the festival offers immersive experiences for all ages. Fans can participate in Go-Karting, 4×4 adventure trails, or even take high-speed ‘Taxi Rides’ in rock crawl and drift vehicles. The atmosphere will be charged by a lineup of energetic DJs, including Sickflip, and the ‘Big Forkers Grill Fest’ featuring popular food brands.

Tickets are now live on the official website, with options ranging from Student Passes at Rs 995 to a comprehensive GS Platinum Package at Rs 16,995, which offers access to a private lounge, grandstand seating, and exclusive after-parties.
