There have been rumours on the internet that Bajaj Auto has discontinued the non-ABS version of its flagship motorcycle Dominar 400. The Pune-based manufacturer has now cleared the air and announced that it has not done anything of that sort and the said trim is still available at the dealerships. The company has stated that the non-ABS version of the Dominar 400 is currently supplied in a matte black colour. On the other hand, the ABS trim is available at the dealerships in three shades of Matte Black, Canyon Red and Glacier Blue. The rumours must have got air as some of the dealers might have denied the availability of the non-ABS version. This made the people think that the said trim is no longer on sale.
Bajaj Auto has denied all rumours in a statement saying, “There have been some reports in the media about the discontinuation of Dominar 400 non ABS variant. Bajaj Auto would like to clarify that the Dominar 400 Non ABS variant is available and is supplied in Matt Black colour. The ABS variant of Dominar 400 is available in Matt Black, Canyon Red and Glacier Blue colour options. Dominar400 has created a strong following for itself in the last one year and is increasingly becoming the preferred choice for city riders and long-distance tourers not just in India but in the export markets as well.” - Bajaj Auto Ltd
