Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced the prices of its 2018 CB Shine SP commuter motorcycle. The bike will be available at the dealerships at a starting price of Rs 62,032 for the drum brake variant. The price of the disc brake trim is Rs 64,518 while the top end CBS variant will cost you Rs 66,508 (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi). The new 2018 Honda CB Shine SP was showcased at the Auto Expo 2018 and witnesses some subtle updates over the previous model. Besides, the motorcycle also receives a revised instrument cluster with a clock and service due indicator. The tank shroud of the motorcycle is also redesigned and it looks slightly aggressive than the one that used to come in the outgoing model. The new 2018 Honda CB Shine SP source power from the same 124.7cc engine. The refined engine is good for producing maximum power and torque outputs of 10.16 hp and 10.30 Nm respectively.
The braking on the 2018 Honda CB Shine SP is done with the help of 130mm drum brakes at both ends. A 240mm disc brake at the front is offered as an optional equipment. The suspension system of the motorcycle gets conventional telescopic forks up front along with twin spring shock absorbers at the rear. The motorcycle rides on 80/100-18 front and rear tyres that come mounted over stylish alloy wheels. The tyres are tubeless so the rider doesn't need to worry in case of a puncture.
