2018 Hero Super Splendor, Passion Pro, Passion XPro unveiled: Deliveries to commence next month

Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the new 2018 models of Super Splendor, Passion Pro and Passion XPro. Deliveries and price announcement next month.

Hero MotoCorp has just unveiled the 2018 models of its three commuters namely Super Splendor, Passion XPro and Passion Pro. While the Super Splendor and Passion Pro were already on sale, the Passion XPro got discontinued by the manufacturer in mid this year. The new Hero Passion Pro, Passion XPro and Super Splendor see some cosmetic changes and new graphics that make the three look significantly different from the outgoing models. Besides, the engines have also been retuned to deliver better power and torque. The prices of these motorcycles will be announced next month. The deliveries will also start next month. Expect the pricing to be Rs 700 to Rs 2000 more than the outgoing models, considering the added features. The motorcycles should start reaching the dealerships in the next few days. All three bikes will be available for sale in five colour options each. The company has announced that the 2018 Hero Super Splendor, Passion Pro and Passion XPro will be launched phase wise in the market starting January 2018.

The Hero Super Splendor gets its power from a 124.7cc engine mated to a four-speed gearbox. The engine is good for churning out a maximum power output of 11.4 PS along with a peak torque of 11 Nm. Having said that, the mill produces 27 percent more power and 6 percent more torque than the previous model. Braking duties are taken care of with the help of 130mm drum brakes fitted at both ends. The motorcycle comes with the company's patented i3s technology that helps in extracting a better fuel economy from the motorcycle.

The 2018 Hero Passion XPro is powered by a 110cc engine and this one too comes mated to a four-speed transmission system. The engine churns out 9.4 PS of power and 9 Nm of torque. The bike has been fitted with 130mm drum brakes at both ends and an optional 240mm front disc brake comes optional. The motorcycle now receives a sharp styling with a bold makeover at the front. A rear tyre hugger is being offered as optional. Other features include i3s technology, twin pilot lamps, side stand indicator and a lot more. The motorcycle will be available for sale in five colour options of sports red with black, black with sports red, black with techno blue, black with heavy grey and force silver with black.

Last, the 2018 Hero Passion Pro comes with new graphics that lend it a fresh appeal. The motorcycle sources its power from a 110cc engine that is linked to a four-speed transmission set up.  The engine now generates 12 percent more power and 12 percent more torque than the outgoing model. To be precise, the mill develops 9.4 hp of power and 9 Nm of torque. The new 2018 Hero Passion Pro comes with features like an optional mobile charger, i3s technology, optional front disc brake, side stand indicator and a lot more. The bike can be picked from five shades of sports red, black monotone, frost blue metallic, force silver metallic and heavy grey metallic.
