Bajaj Dominar was launched in December 2016 as a revolutionary product for the home-grown brand, and indeed it did add a premium flavour to Bajaj's product portfolio. After a successful run for a year, Bajaj has now introduced the 2018 collection of the Dominar and the best part is that the prices are the same. Bajaj Dominar 2018 collection will be available in three new colours - Rock Matte Black, Canyon Red and Glacier Blue. Another new addition are the Gold Dust alloy wheels. Bajaj Dominar 400 was recently taken for a long distance tour by three riders on the Trans-Siberian Odyssey, where they covered 15000 km in 53 days on their Dominars. According to Bajaj, there were no break-downs or part changes throughout the journey.

Bajaj Dominar 400 is powered by a 373.3cc triple spark, four-valve DTSi engine with fuel injection that generates 35 hp of power at 8,000 rpm and 35 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.

New Bajaj Dominar 2018 collection is now available across Bajaj Auto dealerships in disc variant at Rs.1,42,109 and in dual channel ABS variant at Rs 1,56,270 (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).

Indian two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto is also venturing into new international markets and in October 2017, it started exports of the Dominar 400 to Australia. Bajaj believes that it will be able to capitalise the niche Australian market which is slowly but steadily growing in sub-500 cc motorcycle segment.
