Auto Expo 2018 has seen the arrival of multiple interesting two-wheelers and one of the them is the highly awaited Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0. The motorcycle has been launched in India at a price of Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike was spotted on test a couple of times in past and the launch timeline was almost confirmed for the biennial event. The new Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 gets its power from a 155cc, liquid-coold engine mated to a six-speed transmission. The engine on the new R15 is good for developing maximum power output of 19 hp, making it the most powerful motorcycle currently on sale in India in the segment. The company has claimed that the engine on the new Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 delivers 16 percent more power along with 4.7 percent boost in the fuel efficiency. The gearbox on the new Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 also gets a new Assist clutch that reduces the weight of the clutch pull by a significant 18 percent when compared to the R15 V2.0 model. Besides, the slipper clutch reduces the effects of engine braking during aggressive downshifts. The new India-spec Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 receives features like a full LED headlamp and tail lamp, USB charging facility, split step up seats and a lot more. The styling and front fascia of the bike has taken inspiration from the litre class R1. The new Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 has been launched at Auto Expo 2018 in two colours of blue and red.
