Other than that, the new Honda CBR250R showcased at Auto Expo 2018 has been updated with new decals that make the bike look even appealing. Talking of powertrain, the motorcycle continues to get power from a 249.6cc engine mated to a six-speed transmission system. The suspension set up of the Honda CBR250R comprises of conventional telescopic forks at the front while the rear has been assisted by a monoshock. The braking system has been kept unchanged and the stopping power is delivered by disc brakes at both ends. An Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) is offered for added safety and convenience. The models showcased at Auto Expo 2018 has been fitted with split step up seats that look quite comfortable. The motorcycle has got pinstripes too that match up with the colour of the graphics stickered on the body.
Honda had retired the CBR250R with the onset of BS-IV emission norms. There has been a long wait for the return of the quarter litre sports tourer since then. The company has told us that the new 2018 Honda CBR250R will be launched in India in the coming weeks. The motorcycle will most likely demand a slight premium over the retired model that used to retail at Rs 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). For more updates on Auto Expo 2018, stay tuned with us!
